My friend Lindsey is 25 years old. She is a 2nd grade teacher. This past June, she got married. Two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Tomorrow, she will undergo a double mastectomy. Chemotherapy will follow.
Lindsey's faith in God is incredibly strong, but tomorrow begins a hellish journey for her.
Say a prayer for my friend Lindsey, that her body will be healed, that her mind will be eased, that her soul will be comforted, that her recovery will be swift.
And do your breast self-exam. Right now.
