...to sing the daycare blues.
The daycare--nay, school--that Al has attended for the last several months, where he has grown and thrived and learned to squeal like a girl (thanks a lot, little Lauren), where the teachers (who ohmahgod I love so, SO, much) love him so much too, the church daycare that I have more than once referred to as Al's "third parent?"
Is closing.
But don't tell anyone, because I'm not even supposed to know.
It'll be in the summer.
It sucks.

Dammit, why does this keep happening?? It is my greatest fear as well...that our in-home provider will get sick or have grandchildren.
That just plain sucks. My drop-in centre (the church down the street) has been slated to be demolished and turned into a 30 floor condo. That means the great Montessori daycare that I was checking out in the same building will be gone and it's moving so far north that it isn't worth the hike. Hey, did you see how I turned this comment into talking about my suckiness? Anyhow, that sucks and progress sucks.
BAH!
[[go wine!]]
I don't have anything further to say except the BAH!
That just plain sucks. Double BAH!
Well, that just sucks. Sorry to hear this. I don't now what daycare / schools are like by you, but here that would be a huge problem. Crazy!
Good luck finding better!!
Crap. Daycare can totally suck. Well, not daycare, but looking for daycare. Good luck.
